BIT 10 – March 19, 2007
Hello again, I hope you’re all in good health.
All is well here… I’ve been busy helping my Dad with a major project but it’s coming along pretty good! Between work and practice I don’t have much time left in the day!
The Radio interview I mentioned went well. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. I was also featured in a local newspaper article about my Dec. 29th concert!!! More new connections are being made and I’m expecting some new avenues of opportunity to begin opening in the near future!
Last week, some friends invited my dad and me to go to Bocas del Toro, Panama. It was fantastic! We spent 3 days enjoying the island… eating great seafood plus we also went on an all day catamaran tour. This included snorkeling at 2 reefs, watching Dolphins, and catching some great scenery! It was a much needed break, and I really enjoyed myself.
Right now, I’m working on my arrangement of a piece by Beethoven for the next CD. I think it’ll be a nice addition. I’m putting the final touches on a few other new pieces as well!
I’m spending a lot of time checking out studios to do the new CD in… being new to this country makes it a little harder to get things started! I need certain things to capture the variety of sounds I’m creating in a few of the new arrangements and finding a studio that has the right equipment isn’t as easy as you might think! I’m closing in on a couple that might fit the bill! I’ll keep you informed on the progress!
Well, keep on pickin’ and don’t forget to use your talents to brighten someone’s day. As the Bible in the book of Proverbs 17:22 says. “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine…” So… get out there and start spreading some smiles!
