Well, we just started a sabbatical for the first time in years… we are staying in Idaho. We flew out here about two weeks ago. This is my first time visiting this state. We’ve been back home in Costa Rica for a while now, and have been very busy.
Before we flew back to Costa Rica the first week of March, we met with some friends at a Cracker Barrel for lunch. While waiting for them to arrive, I took out my banjo and sat in one of the rockers and played. That turned out to be a great way to draw a crowd and meet some very nice people. Well, since my last BIT we finished the last Seminar in Orlando, & spent Christmas day with some dear friends of ours in Florida. Well, While I was back in Costa Rica I became an Endorsing Artist for Deering Banjos and ordered a Customized Deluxe 6 string model. I ordered it with an upgrade from the standard Mahogany wood to being an all Walnut Banjo! It is both LOUD & beautiful!

Well, my last Concert in Grecia went well, and a lot of my friends were able to come out to it, including Pablo Ortiz(link opens in new browser window), who I invited up to play with me for the close of the Concert. It was truly a grand finale!
