So far our stay in Idaho has been a great blessing of both getting much needed rest, as well as making some new friends!

Playing at the College Church of the Nazarene in the Treasure Valley.
Notice how the landscape went from wet to white… They were taken just a short distance from each other!

Well, we just started a sabbatical for the first time in years… we are staying in Idaho.  We flew out here about two weeks ago.  This is my first time visiting this state.  A few days after we arrived, I played during the offertory at the Intermountain District Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene held inside of the College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho… It was a hit! Hello everyone,

We’ve been back home in Costa Rica for a while now, and have been very busy.

Showing off my D-6 to the guys.
Backing up Rick for a song.

Before we flew back to Costa Rica the first week of March, we met with some friends at a Cracker Barrel for lunch. While waiting for them to arrive, I took out my banjo and sat in one of the rockers and played. That turned out to be a great way to draw a crowd and meet some very nice people.  Continue reading “BIT-38”
