BIT 9 – February 14, 2007
Well hello again… I hope you’ve all been having as good a time as I’ve had!
I did an opening concert on Dec. 29th in the now being remodelled Boquete Community Theatre in Boquete. The Boquete Community Players (BCP) leased the space and plan to renovate it and build a stage, etc. so that the community of Boquete can have theatrical, musical and cultural productions and events in an appropriate atmosphere. The work on this project is really coming along!
I also had the opportunity to play for a group of dignitaries at the Inauguration of the 35th Coffee & Flower Festival in Continue reading “BIT-9”
BIT 8 – December 09, 2006
Well, sorry for the delay. To say I’ve been busy lately would not cover it, plus our computer decided it wanted to crash, so that didn’t help any! The good news is I’ve got plenty to fill you in on!
Also, we moved to Alto Boquete, Panama, but let me back up a little and fill you in…
My guitar was still in progress before our move… I got a little creative, and Continue reading “BIT-8”
BIT 7 – August. 19, 2006
It’s been quite busy since I wrote last time. I’ve been helping my dad replace the roof on the house, fixing broken water pipes, and playing some gigs.
I also restarted a long delayed pet project of mine… to build my first guitar!!! It has been a real blessing to be in Central America where there are many types of exotic hard woods available. I’ve also Continue reading “BIT-7”
BIT 6 – June 23, 2006

BIT 5 – March 6, 2006
Well, I’ve got some great news for you all… I just finished a single I’ve been working on called “Huecolandia”. That’s Spanish for “Pothole-land”.
It’s a funny song I wrote during the end of last year while on one of Costa Rica’s pothole laden roads (there’s about a ZILLION of them)! I wrote it in Continue reading “BIT-5”
BIT 4 – December 28, 2005
Well, since my last “bit” we’ve all celebrated both Thanksgiving and Christmas so, I thought I should give you all an update…
My parents and I shared Thanksgiving at some friend’s house, and had a nice time. The next day I played at an “open mic” (invitation only) Private Club and Continue reading “BIT-4”
BIT 3 – October 8, 2005
Well, I thought I should give you all a “bit” of an update about the Guitar Festival! After having gone to nearly all of the nightly concerts I was able to get a very broad and thorough sampling of many of the styles represented. From various Classical and Baroque pieces to some Flamenco to Brazilian styles to some fantastic Tangos and Ragtime tunes. Although every guitarist there Continue reading “BIT-3”
BIT 2 – August 24, 2005
Hi Everybody, I hope you all are doing well!
I’ve decided to put my CD project on hold for the time being, because I feel that it’s not quite in God’s perfect timing right now. I’ve decided instead to put my energies toward writing new material for a new CD. I’ll keep you posted as that develops!
In other news, I’ve been invited to play in the XII Festival Internacional de Guitarra, (12th International Guitar Festival), at the Continue reading “BIT-2”
BIT 1 – June, 2005
This is the first, “BIT”, instalment! I’m very excited about my new site… its been requested by many for quite some time, so thank God here it is! I’m so very thankful to have been blessed by friends that have helped me to make this site a reality!
I’m presently writing new material and working out a few new arrangements of some old classics that Continue reading “BIT-1”
